UPI is terrific

I had lost one pole. I contacted UPI and spoke with a representative who was friendly, exceedingly gracious in listening to my needs for a new pole, cut me a discount on a new pair of poles and expedited the order. Order arrived within 4 days to Montana. Extraordinary service and new poles are an improvement over older model. Told my wife after had placed my order how thoughtful and helpful UPI representative had been and wish other companies responded similarly

These were a gift to an 82yo relative with an idiopathic neurological disorder that has resulted in use of foot-drop orthotics for the past couple of decades. Reported to be particularly useful on outings where adjusting pole height for up- and down-hill helps whereas ski poles are not particularly useful.
